The agent who took care of me, Mimi, was incredible. She went out of her way to help us. The van was great and clean. I cannot say enough.
I had reserved a pick up truck for $310. 00. She said, do you really want a pick up truck? I can upgrade you to a full sized car fo an additional $30.00. I agreed. Ok, so I was figuring $340.00. She then asked if I would like to purchase gas, saying, it’s about $2.71/gallon so it should be $38.00. So now I figured I was at about, $378.00. My total charge was about $100.00 more than my original price. So much for “helping me out!” Very misleading.
I was hit with $70 of charges that were unexpected. Booked car online and paid rental fee of $98. Was charged another $100.71 for miscellaneous charges and these did not include gas or damage to vehicle. Will never use Thrifty again.
First and last time I’ll use Thrifty. Counter rep was totally misleading.
I called Thrifty to complain. They told me to go back to the airport to speak with a manager.
Wonderful experience. The head manager Jeff was more than patient, making the rental process a breeze. I would definitely make this location a company my go to car rental destination. There was also another staff member she was very kind as I walked in and greeted me with a smile. Friendly staff and clean atmosphere. Thank you all again for your excellent customer service.
Car maintenance light was on when we received the car, and the tires made a noise like uneven wear. The staff was great, as was the ease of picking up and dropping off. Price was reasonable .
