HAD ISSUES WITH THE VEHICLE WITHIN THE FIRST 12 HOURS OF RENTAL AND SPENT OVER AN HOUR ON THE PHONE AND THEN HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION TO HELP WITH THE REPAIR. I WAS ADVISED ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION THAT WHEN I RETURNED THE VEHICLE, I SHOULD REQUEST SOME CONCESSIONS FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. AT THE DENVER AIRPORT, THEY ADVISED NOTHING COULD BE DONE AS I HAD "PREPAID" MY RESERVATION. I CALLED THE DAY AFTER MY RETURN AND WAS ADVISED THAT SINCE I "PREPAID" THE RESERVATION NOTHING COULD BE DONE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RENTING FROM HERTZ. THE VEHICLE WAS IN POOR SHAPE AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICES IS AWFUL. WHEN CALLING THE "CUSTOMER CARE" DEPARTMENT - GUESS WHAT - NO ONE CARES.
They could not even get my information correct. Did not rent in Florida, rented in Denver. RENTED A CAR WITH HERTZ ONLINE OUT OF THE DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AND PREPAID ON THE WEBSITE (AN OPTION PROVIDED BY THE COMPANY. HAD NOTHING BUT ISSUES AND HORRIBLE, I MEAN HORRIBLE CUSTOM SERVICE UPON OUR ARRIVAL.. WHEN GOING OUT TO THE LOT TO GET THE VEHICLE, THERE WAS ONE LEFT AND IT HAD NO KEY. THERE WAS ONE INDIVIDUAL (BONNIE) WHO DID ASSIST.
Quick shuttle bus over to the lot. Attendant directed me to my preassigned car steps from the shuttle bus. Car was in pristine condition. On my way in less than 5 minutes. All the employees I came in contact with were cheerful and helpful. Returning was even easier. Special shout out to the attendant that ran me down before I got on the shuttle. I had left my personal home keys on the hertz key ring that I left in the ignition. It would have been a huge problem for me if I lost those keys so I was very appreciative. Got a great deal too on a weekly rental using my USAA member discount.
This operation has poor management, no customer service and worse, is disingenuous beyond belief. After returning the rental I saw on my next credit card statement a surcharge of $45. This came as a total surprise because when i dropped off the vehicle, the outside attendant took the keys and told me everything was good, that nothing further was necessary. I called Hertz at this location several times, leaving messages on the manager's voice mail, but never received a call back. I filed a dispute with my credit card company who informed me Hertz told them they swiped my card for this amount. This is not so. Had I given them my card, I would have learned it was for fuel, at which point I would have explained that when I picked up the car initially and noted it was only 3/4 full, that the assistant told me I needed to return it with the same amount of fuel, which is what I did. Or at the very least, I would have gone to the corner and added $10 worth of fuel. My experience leads me to believe that this Hertz location is very poorly managed and unethical in its practices.
Never had a bad experience yet. Staff at PBI were great. Wish I would have retained their names, but they are all helpful and polite.
Food was excellent! It was hot fresh and eell seasoned. Service was friendly and fast. Prices were low for meals.
