It's a good place to shop... the associates are nice. The deli in particular features the best manager ever.
I don't know if it was the chicken tenders or if it had something to do with unsanitary practices at their deli, but my boyfriend & I got a chicken tender sub here and both immediately got sick. Don't recommend their deli ever. Wish I could get my money back.
This Publix is a very convenient place to shop and I've always had good experiences with the staff there. They are friendly and courteous to me when I enter the store as well even if I end up not purchasing anything because I'm window shopping that day. They have amazing subs and a knowledgeable staff when it comes to ingredients in foods. This is especially important to me because I have a little lactose sensitivity.
What a complete ripoff! It was certainly NOT sirloin. In fact it was the worst ground beef we ever tasted. C A R D B O A R D! This is the second time this has happened in about a year, so it is not one of those "fluke" things. The first time, we let it go, and chalked it up to a butcher that needs glasses.
...and if you do buy their beef, don't be afraid to bring it to managements attention when you find out its lesser quality than marked. LAST TIME FOR US! . If I could have entered zero stars, I would have.
I grilled them. They just didn't smell right while on the grill.
Either Publix is purposely mis-marking the product, or their beef has gone downhill big time. We will never ever buy any meat from this place again. Beware!
My wife and I had wanted a good hamburger (we don't eat red meat often, but every now and then we cheat), so instead of trying to find a great burger at a restaurant, she picked up 2 alleged "ground sirloin" patties at Publix, where she does her grocery shopping at the Shops of Ibis on Northlake Blvd.
