My overall experience was fantastic. The agent I spoke with, Zachary Ingraham, was very professional and knowledgeable. He knew the right questions to ask and made every effort to provide me correct auto insurance I needed at a very affordable price, significantly lower than my current renewal with State Farm Mutual. After being a State Farm customer for more than 30 years, I was extremely disappointed at their significant increase in premium. But, I was very happy that I reached out to GEICO.
My experience was great until I married someone who does not have a license!
"Unbelievable to me, a policy holder for years with no at fault accidents, nor DUIs or Speeding tickets and yet you cancel my coverage only because I married someone who doesn't have a drivers license! I am furious and will be posting your discriminatory practices online and in every Hispanic oriented consumer group. Pathetic and obviously racist! You never had a problem with me having and PAYING for 2 vehicles for years and now FOR NO VALID REASON you are making an excuse to cancel my policy only after I married someone who doesn't have a license. With the politics of today, it is EXTREMELY CLEAR why you are suddenly motivated to discriminate against long standing policyholders like me. You should be ashamed of yourself. This email and your response will be posted everywhere I can find to show the public the discriminatory practices Geico is now implementing."
I called before I went and spoke with Pablo the manager who is very nice gave me the days and times told me to come in whenever, no appointment necessary . I did my inspection with Trip who was very professional it was super quick and easy .. so quick that I accidentally left my phone there. They were able to retain it until I was able to pick it up. The agent who found it Cybill, went above and beyond to look into my file and email me to let me know it was safely there. thank God or else I wouldn't have known where I left it throughout the day with all the errands I ran!! Thank you guys for all your help with my insurance and phone
So far so good. Saved almost $500 for 6 month premium by switching and the local office is quick to respond.
Very helpful and informative about different options available. Allowed time to make the best decision!
