When I brought in my car I was given a cost estimate and the time needed to complete the work. They took my car in right away. Both the time and cost estimates were spot on. The location was clean and professional and the waiting room was very comfortable. They had on my favorite movie too, which was a plus! After the service, Michael walked me though the work done and gave me clear next steps for proper maintainace. I have recommended Moe's to family, friends, and co-workers. My husband recently took his car there as well and we very pleased with the quality of work...and thought the princes were very affordable.
My Wife has a 2014 Subaru BRZ, and here in August 2017 it has a big 4950 miles. (She works REAL close to home and we use MY car on the W/E).
Being an overly cautious guy, I figure we might do the brake, tranny (manual), and differential oils while we had it up. I got the proper oils, filters, etc because I'm not a fan of generics.
OK, so I'm not some big time reviewer, but I had to write up this one!
Moe is the only mechanic in town that touches my car. Top notch work and a quick turn around. Every employee he hires is a real professional and the shop, bathroom and reception area are always clean. His work is as good or better than you'll get at any dealership, at way better prices. Stands behind his parts and labor 100%; not that I've ever had a problem. Honest man with a great business. Do yourself a favor, and bring your car to Moe.

Now, by the book, oil changes on today's cars are 7-10K miles. But long TIME, low miles, can cause some buildup of acids and such in oil, so it's good to change after a couple years, even if not at the mileage, especially if in very dusty, or short start / stop conditions like my Wife has.
I called around to 4 places before Moe's, (and visited two) and got quotes from $179 to $259 (!!) for just changing the fluids that _I_ was supplying! Thieves. If it takes you 20 mins to change either the tranny or differential you're on drugs, I've done it. One place wanted $70 for each!
The work was amazing. I got great service. My experience was the best I've ever had at a mechanic shop. The people that work there are so friendly, also the best price I found by far.
So today, I met Moe. In the dictionary, next to Straight Shooter, is Moe's pic. He tightened a loose rear mirror, inflated the tires, checked the wipers and didn't try to sell me new ones, changed the oil, looked at all the others, even took a oil sample I asked for (you can send it off to be analyzed, the racers do it). He then told me everything else was perfect, and charged me for a half hour.
Service the old fashioned way, with a smile and a handshake where you get to keep your fingers!
Moe, Michael, and their staff, were incredible. I was impressed with not only my experience but of the other interactions I witnessed as well. Before I decided to use and reccomend Moe I overheard him giving a consultation to a client on his car. I was immediately put at ease by how candid Moe was. He understands not everyone can afford everything at once and he helped the customer to prioritize. He works with you to make sure you in a safe vehicle.
Then there was Moe's. I called Moe and talked to him for a few mins on the phone and I knew immediately I had found my guy. He's been doing this forever, and being a Engineer at heart, I knew what I was hearing was Gospel. He told me I didn't need to touch the brake, tranny or the differential fluids at this point but he'd check them. He agreed the oil should go, and suggested I MIGHT need to flush the radiator, quoted me $99!
You need an Auto guy? RUN, don't walk (well, drive your car ...LOL) to Moe. He'll treat you like a family friend he's known for years! We chatted for a bit afterwards, he's a Master Mechanic, for sure. WAY recommended.
Moe, I just want to thank you for all the hard work you have put into my car. You've taken the time to explain details to me and have exceeded all expectations I had. It's nice to have somewhere to get my vehicle fixed, know the job was done correctly, and walk away without feeling financially raped. I'll keep coming back. Thank you!!
