Dealing with Palm Beach County Tax Collector's office IS A NIGHTMARE! Conflicting responses, unanswered appeals, all the while, penalties and interest keep ticking up. This is the quintessential bureaucracy.
Considering my experience trying to resolve a matter with the PBC Tax Collectors office, I recommend, if they send you a bill, don't bother trying to get a reasonable explanation, just pay it and move on with life, or better yet DON'T DO BUSINESS IN PALM BEACH COUNTY!
