Five star suggestion which I’d never know about or choose myself but what a surprise! Lively and upbeat Middle East food. Everything is authentic and freshly made with all kinds of spices , sauces and hummus! We came on the right night with belly dancer to boot. Lots of fun and an upbeat crowd ! Excellent !
Overall everything was good.
It was huge. Was more than enough for 2 adults and 2 children.
After the response of the owner I have lowered my score.. even if it is an appetizer, the portion size compared to price is small... I will now NEVER be back to this establishment due to the horrific owners response. I will also instruct any and everyone I know not to patron this establishment.
Agora is not only my favorite Mediterranean restaurant, it is also one of my favorite restaurants in general. The food is fabulous, the entree portions overly generous and the service superb and very friendly. And the desserts - delicious!! The owner, Semih, and hostess, Marlene, are very attentive and always try to ensure you have a great dining experience. And for a real treat, come on a Friday or Saturday night and be mesmerized by their fantastic belly dancer. Overall, a restaurant not to be missed!!
Meat plate needs sauces. At least 3 different.
Few things could be improved though.
Food was definitely fresh! Loved the Piyaz! The onions were still crunchy! Yum! My only complaint is the portion sizes to-go (not sure about dine in) are extremely small for the price.. Will I be back? Not sure, I may try to dine in and see if portions are of proper value...
We tried the Grilled meat plate.
We also enjoyed the belly dance performance.
The music could be a bit quieter and maybe from a better sound system.
The food is absolutely good. I got the lentil soup and the beity. We god some humus and fish everything delicious. We showed up 30 minutes before they closed and we still got great service, the owner/managers were very attentive. The portions were big, the prices affordable and fair. We stay after they were supposed to closed and we never feel they were pushing us to leave. Totally recommended. I will back with more friends to see the belly dancers on Friday/Saturday.
