I do wish that they had more individual study rooms, but I can usually reserve one and stay for at least two hours before someone bumps me out.
This is one of the quieter libraries in the area. The staff keeps control of the patrons while remaining friendly, helpful and professional. I always enjoy my visits to the Mandel Public Library.
I love their diverse selection of audiobooks and that they make a concerted effort to maintain them (repair scratches, skips, etc.)
Great library! Comfortable place to study - the 4th floor is brightly lit with plenty of space to spread out and get work done, use the computer stations, or find a nook in the stacks to quietly read.
I enjoy the free programs at the library. I find the choice of books much better at my local library. Customer service 0 stars. My reason is that rarely does anyone answer the phones when calling in. You have to leave a message which is not always returned. At times I get a call back in 15 minutes. Other times it can be hours and today no one ever called back with answers to my questions.
The staff were very kind and polite.
We love Mandel! I've never encountered an employee or volunteer who wasn't polite and helpful. The children's floor is where we spend most of our time and the ladies up there are super kind and patient with the kids. There are also SO MANY programs and truly something for everyone - yoga, coding classes, current events lectures, etc. The check out system is painless as well.
