Different Experience
On our first visit, I was his last appointment and we signed paperwork for representation. I left my favorite very expensive collectors sunglasses on the conference room chair next to me and I called his office numerous times to retrieve them. After calling several times, I was told by his paralegal that she did not see them in the conference room, she confirmed they share the conference room with other offices and I requested that she inquire with the other offices, the cleaning crew and if they have a lost and found or to please provide me with the phone numbers and I would call. I continued to call and email, but they are non-responsive.
Mr. Howe advised on the first visit for me to cancel my doctor's appointment that was scheduled the next day and took me two months to schedule, while advising his doctor can perform the same test. The doctor he sent me to does not perform the prescribed test from my previous doctor and there was no point to the visit. When I called my doctor to try and get my appointment back, they told me the doctor is no longer taking new patients. The doctor's office he sent me to that was supposed to be on contingency told me that Mr. Howe was not taking my case and that is why they did not call me back to schedule the test with another doctor and to inquire who would be paying the bill. It is unprofessional to have a doctors office inform me that my attorney is no longer representing me when I just signed with the attorney days prior and both the attorney and doctor advised the pointless visit was on contingency. I believe Mr. Howe and his paralegal did not like how many times I called about my sunglasses and decided to not take my case. Regardless, my sunglasses did not walk away on their own and it is very odd that Mr. Howes office has been non-responsive to inquire with the other offices, cleaning crew and whoever works for him. I filed a police report.
I now understand the below review stating they had a "different experience". It certainly was a different experience. Mr. Howe has a pleasant demeanor, I cannot comment on his legal ability, but what transpired was bad and it was not a professional experience.
